Home2 Suites by Hilton Pocatello

Stayed here with my teen kids in August 25. The rooms were clean and didn’t smell! The beds were a little firm for my taste but the kids loved them. The AC worked great and kept the room cool. The efficient toilets got clogged twice during our stay, but a plunger took care of it. The hot breakfast was decent as were the drinks. We never hit the gym or indoor pool but they both seemed in good shape. The street was a little hard to find at night, but we managed. They had plenty of parking with room for large vehicles adjacent to the lot. We would stay here again.

Just gonna go ahead and give this hotel five stars. For the money and location, this place was perfect. Great amenities including a quite-good breakfast, a professional, prompt, and courteous team of employees, and a clean hotel that was pretty darned comfortable… it earns five stars from this experienced traveler.

Clean rooms, very nice and accommodating for us and our dogs. Staff was nice and the breakfast wasn’t too bad. They had gluten-free waffles , which is a plus for my Fiancée who can’t eat gluten!

This hotel has been great for my family with two young kids! We chose to put our toddler’s travel crib in the closet (the closet closes with a black out curtain) and there is ample space for the kids to play and move around when we are in the room. The curtain that divides the “bedroom” for the living space is a nice touch. The staff are kind and responsive, and have been very helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.

So clean and well stocked. The breakfast had variety and was great. I thought the room really stood out from regular "nice" hotel rooms. It was a cut above the rest.

Great hotel but the pillows suck. I do not want my pillow to go flat when I lay my head down. The full kitchen and roll out table were a nice surprise. Kitchen sink, dish washer, full sized fridge, dishes, utensils, everything! Cook tops and skillets available upon request. The bathroom was small but functional. They use the Zero hygiene products. I can't say I'm a fan of Zero. Does make my hair feel good at all. Please put lotion in the rooms! Zero body wash makes my skin dry and there is no Zero lotion. Their breakfast was creative. It was a DIY breakfast sandwich bar. They also had waffles and oatmeal. Over all this is a great hotel and I would stay here again.

We got a king suite. It was clean, except for the refrigerator has a stain the back of it, I forgot to tell the front desk so it is here. The bed was not too bad, but the shade on the window leaked a ton of light during the night from the parking lot and even more from the sun in the early morning, it needs looked at please. The water is not soft here, unlike the Home2Suites in Idaho Falls, sadly. My scalp and skin surely noticed during and after my shower. This is important, if I am going to pay $300 a night I had better be getting a decent stay that includes soft water like at HOME. I wanted to use the hot tub as it helps with my condition (I travel here for medical) but for some reason they close it at 10? There were a ton of kids in there and the pool so we didn't get to use it. Please consider opening the pool area up to adults 24/7 and limit the kids to before 10. Some of the staff were really friendly and helpful, some were not. The lady that was staffing the breakfast was apparently very aggravated that I would deign to ask her a question about the food. They ran out of oatmeal somehow and they weren't watching the area closely enough since it was a mess and many toppings were out of stock or nearly so. Please remind your staff that they should be nice to customers. If they can't do that, they should have a position that never comes in contact with the public.

The Home 2 Suites is my go to place in Pocatello, it’s super clean, well appointed, comfortable, and they make you feel right at home. Having a full refrigerator, microwave, and plates while traveling is such a game changer.
